A lot of people ask me how hard Crabby is to set up before they order. The honest answer is that it's the easiest gadget on your desk. There is no app to download, no account to create and no subscription to start. Here's the whole process.
1. Plug it in
Crabby runs on USB-C. Use the cable in the box and plug it into any USB wall adapter, a computer, a monitor or a power strip with a USB port. The screen lights up and it boots on its own.
2. Connect to Wi-Fi
Pick your Wi-Fi network right on the touchscreen and type the password with the stylus that comes in the box. That's the only setup step that needs any typing.
3. Pick what you want to watch
Choose your coins, stocks and markets from the screen. You can add any of 15,000+ coins, or paste a contract address to track a brand-new token, including pump.fun launches. Stocks and indices like the S&P 500 and the Dow, gold, silver, oil and forex like EUR/USD are all there too.
4. Optional: set it up from your phone instead
If you'd rather not tap on a small screen, Crabby also runs a web dashboard on your home network. Open it on your phone or laptop and set up your watchlist and wallets from there.
5. Add your wallets (if you want)
You can add up to 7 wallets across 15 chains. Crabby only ever uses your public address. It never asks for a private key or seed phrase and it can't move funds. It's a display, not a wallet.
That's it
From then on prices refresh every 60 seconds, the screen rotates through your watchlist and wallets, and you get live news plus morning and evening market briefings without picking up your phone.
